Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How far is the caravan from the main complex?
A. It is 500m to the main complex. The path has no inclines and is away from main road traffic.

Q. Is linen provided with the booking price?
A. Linen is not provided as standard, so please ensure it is requested or that you bring your own linen. Requested linen is 25 per break, which is very competitive compared to Butlins hiring fees.

Q. Can we bring our dog?
A. Unfortunately no, for the benefit of all our guests we operate a no pets policy maintaining a fresh and clean stay for all visiting families.

Q. How do I provide feedback on my experience with yourselves?
A. We welcome all feedback on your experience with us. Please send an email to the email address above. We look forward to hearing from you.

Q. Is the caravan suitable for wheelchair access?
A. The caravan does have a ramp, however is not fitted out with rail supports internally and the entrance doors are standard width (700mm). None the less the step from the verandah into the caravan is small and with some care the caravan should support those with walking difficulties. Please note however that the shower access involves a 10inch (approx) step.

Q. Can I bring children to adult weekends?
A. Butlins do not allow bookings with children for these breaks, more over these breaks are not appropriate for children.

Q. Can I pay for the holiday by instalments?
A. To reserve the holiday 50 must be paid as soon as possible. However the remaining cost may be paid in full or by instalments so long as the total amount due is paid before eight weeks prior to the holiday start date. We do however encourage for the full holiday cost to be paid as soon as possible for your peace of mind and to avoid any problems with paying nearer the time.

Q. Can I add extra passes to my booking?
A. You can purchase additional passes up to a maximum of eight in total. Please note that if you have booked a break lasting longer than one week, you will need passes for each week individually. Also note that if amendments are made within 21 days to the holiday start, an additional 20 Butlins admin fee will apply.

Q. I need to cancel my reservation / booking?
A. No problem. Just contact us and we'll make the arrangements. Depending on booking status and how far away the holiday is, there are terms applicable to the amount refunded. For details refer to the Amendment / Cancellation section of the Terms and Conditions.

Q. What do I do on arrival?
A. The entrance to the caravan village is on the left if approaching from Skegness, on the right if approaching from Ingoldmells, roughly opposite the tall circular building of Butlins Splashworld. At the security gate, you will be directed to the Caravan Village Reception. When it's time to check-in, present your 'Welcome Letter' to the team (sent to you by email), who will issues keys, wristbands, etc. Guests may arrive on the Resort and use the facilities from 12 noon, but will not be able to check-in until the time as stated on the 'Welcome letter'. Please note that for the 'Big Weekends', all guests are required to provide proof of identification (drivers licence, passport) in order to be issued wristbands.

Q. Can we have a BBQ at the caravan?
A. For safety reasons, and to ensure no damages to the caravan (burns / charring), neither BBQs nor any other incendiary items (such as fireworks) are allowed in or around the caravan. Note that fireworks are prohibited anywhere on the park.

Q. When do we have to leave by?
A. You must vacate the caravan by 10AM, dropping the keys off at the caravan village reception, such that the accommodation can be inspected and prepared for the new arrivals (please ensure it is left nice and tidy). You can still use Butlins facilities, however please note that the holiday break finishes at 11am.
